Cause Z is for Zvonksy
Zvonksy play Klezmer, Balkan and Gypsy music. Locals to West End, I caught them recently at Laura St Festival.

The band leader was playing a gorgeous silver tone tenor sax, accompanied by an alto sax, trumpet, an unusual bass guitar (a bit like a cigar box guitar) and there were a couple of multi-instrumentalists in the band - one who alternated between guitar and drums, and another who played either flute or guitar.

At times the band played without anyone drumming and, surprisingly, it didn't seem at all missing. Their music is steeped in gypsy sounds, which inspired dancing and sometimes had a marching band / music played in a round feel to it. There were some fantastic solos, including a haunting flute musical soliloquy (pic below).
