Dance under the ripple rings
If you are looking for free entertainment for your kids during the school holidays, then why not come down to Elizabeth Quay for some kids dancing.
Free Zumba and Konga classes will be held during the October school holidays by Yannick Benoit of Yanique Dance Fusion.
Being held at the Spanda sculpture, (the big rings representing ripples of water), at Elizabeth Quay from 26 September to 7 October daily.
These fun dance classes are for all kids aged six and over.
The classes will start off with ice breaker activities to get the kids excited and ready to do either Zumba, which starts at 10.00am or Konga classes starting at 11.00am. They will be fun and easy to follow dance routines for kids to enjoy. Each class is up to 60 minutes long. At the end, kids will have had some great exercise as well as learnt some new routines.
Kids are to be accompanied by a parent. Just wear flat shoes and bring a water bottle.
