Experience Delicious Korean food or grill-it-yourself BBQ
This modern looking Korean restaurant is located in World Square Shopping Center in Sydney CBD. I was told that it filled up quickly during lunch hours especially on weekdays.
Zozo Korean Restaurant Dining Menu
My friends and I visited ZoZo for lunch just before the peak hours. Even so, there were already patrons in the shop. We were seated immediately upon arrival and given the dining menu.
Zozo Korean Restaurant (Ground Floor)
This two-storey restaurant features a variety of selections, from a la carte to grill-it-yourself barbeque.
Banchan (Side Dish)
Since were not up for grilling and barbeque, we opted for the a la carte menu. While waiting for our orders to arrive, the waiter served us the banchan - side dish. There were sweetened peanuts, pickled onions, and cabbage kimchi.
After a short wait, our orders arrived. First up was spicy beef and vegetable soup served with a bowl of rice. It was certainly hot and spicy enough to wake me up but I love it. There were lots of shredded onions in the soup and the beef slices were tender.
Next was Korean signature dish bibimbap, which is basically mixed rice. My friend who is a vegetarian had the tofu bibimbap topped with seasoned vegetables and a raw egg.
Kimchi Tofu Soup
Finally, the kimchi tofu soup. It was another bowl of hot and spicy soup but with a rich kimchi taste. Definitely a win for my kimchi-lover friend.
Overall the food is great and the service is all right. The price however is slightly more expensive than other Korean restaurants in town in my opinion.
