So on a beautiful, sunny Ekka holiday, we drove down the Gold Coast listening to Coastal Chill. Ozball is less than an hour's journey South of Brisbane and on the opposite side from Dream World off the Pacific Highway.
We arrived and filled in the forms and the girls changed into their swimmers and rashies. The first ride down the man made slope was the Harness dry ride. The girls were strapped inside the centre of a huge bubble wrap beach ball and pushed off down the Teletubbie-like-hillside.
We could hear their screams as they careered down the hillside to the bottom turning over and over in giddy circles.
The next ride, The Hydro, involves 40 litres of heated water inside the Ozball where the girls Slip and slide in the bottom of the ball as it rolls down. They both preferred this ride and for $40 for both of them much better value than the Harness Dry Ride which cost $45 each.
The staff was helpful and didn't muck around. The grounds were groomed like golf green and obviously well cared for. We took our own camera but they do offer to video your experience, at a cost, as a memento of your first Zorb.
