The school holidays are nearly here and Zoos Victoria has some great programs to keep kids entertained and excited.
Zoo Tales: A festival of stories Why not come and hear some stories about all the animals at Werribee Open Range Zoo? Games, music, and stories will be part of an immersive, interactive and fun experience that tells the stories about our animals and the places they come from. Week one will be African stories and Week 2 Australian stories.

Mini National Geographic photographer pop-up Is your child a budding photographer? If so, then hurry down to Melbourne Zoo for this exciting activity where kids will be able to create their own wildlife photo shoot by dressing up and pretending to be a National Geographic photographer. Located at Melbourne Zoo's Keeper Kids indoor play space, this hands-on experience is an all-weather activity. When: September 22 – October 7

Nature Play at the Sanctuary
There is a new play space at Healesville so why not let your kids run wild in this brand new enchanted nature play space. They can also enjoy face painting, dancing, and music while learning and playing outdoors.

Brush your teeth with the hippos I
If your kids don't like going to the dentist for check-ups this may convince them that it can be fun. In partnership with Dental Health Services Victoria and the Royal Flying Doctor Service, there will free dental check-ups for kids under 12 at Werribee Open Range Zoo these holidays! Don't forget to see the hippo keeper talk and teeth clean too.
When: Weekdays, Sept 24 – Oct 5, 1.10pm daily.
