The Zoo Bistro Cafe has been around at Bondi Junctions' Oxford Street for such a long time, and quite frankly (I apologise in advance if this comes across as being harsh) I can't believe what has happened.

The coffee is still mediocre and nothing spectacular. Tasteless and way too milky. Their baristas really need to brush up on their coffee making skills and go back to coffee school. The food does not look overly edible, although it is fairly well cooked, there is just no taste and flavour which is disappointing.

However it is great to see the decor being more trendy and modernised with a more professional feel to this business, especially as the bright green was cheap and tacky in the past.

The only time I will ever come back to this establishment is to buy their muffins and friands as they are just so tasty. Sadly there is not much happening for this establishment, and many foodies in the area would be praying for some much needed change as it is in a perfect locale, and the owners have made a decent effort in making this establishment look more upmarket.
