It might be cold and dreary in Melbourne at the moment, but don't let that put you off a visit to Zonzo restaurant at Train Trak Winery. Located in the heart of Yarra Glen, around 50km north-east of Melbourne, the picturesque drive itself forms part of the experience.

If you're lucky enough to be venturing out on the third Sunday of the month, you could stop by the local Yarra Glen Farmer's Market on the Melba Highway. Sample some of the delectable local produce such as home-made jams and preserves, and organic fruit and vegetables. Sneak in a wine tasting experience over at the historical wine tasting bar at Yering Station before making your way to lunch.

Remember to book Zonzo's in advance, as this gem seems to be a popular choice for Sunday lunch, which comes as no surprise. Bookings can be made by phone or online. The popular Train Trak vineyard, which has a cellar door, is set on 45 acres, boasting breathtaking views of the Yarra Valley from within the eatery.

Zonzo's rustic decor and cosy open fire will ignite the senses, where you can sit down and enjoy what seems like an endless supply of traditional Italian woodfire pizzas that are brought to your table from the popular $40 sharing menu. If you like authentic Italian food, these award winning pizzas won't disappoint. If pizza isn't your thing, there's plenty more Italian cuisine on the dining menu.

Zonzo's offers a decent selection of imported Italian beers and wine. Local wines are offered include selections from the Train Trak winery, as well as the Barossa Valley, Hunter Valley and Gippsland.

Don't forget to bring the kids scooters, as the best part about Zonzo's if you have a family is the child friendly outdoor area. Finally a place where wining, dining and children can mix. There's even a fish pond for them to explore and lawns where the kids can run about whilst you enjoy an unforgettable and relaxing afternoon dining experience.

Finish off your afternoon as the Italians do with an "amaro". Choose from limoncello or grappa. Or for those with a sweet tooth, a decadent Italian hot chocolate.

Perfect for groups, families, couples or even functions, Zonzo's has a range of menu options where the cosy ambience sets the tone for a thoroughly enjoyable day for all.
