This year's International Women's Day is kicking the class factor up a couple of notches with a Sacha Drake fashion parade and high tea on Sunday 8th March. The good people at Zonta Brisbane City Heart are ensuring all proceeds from the High Tea style Sunday Brunch will be donated towards Zonta's global program to end child marriages. This event, held at Victoria Park, encourages women from all walks of life to come together to celebrate being a woman.
To kick things off, Brisbane's very own Sacha Drake herself will be there to showcase her incredibly diverse and empowering fashion. The locally-made successful women's fashion line is supporting Zonta's initiative and spoiling all the ladies on International Women's Day.
Ladies grab your mum, sisters and friends to celebrate everything about being a strong, invincible woman as Helen Reddy sings in 'I Am Woman'. Be prepared to be spoilt with champagne and canapés to indulge in, along with the amazing fashion parade as you reconnect with the sisterhood.
This is a perfect high tea experience for all the hard-working women in SE QLD to enjoy at Victoria Park's Brisbane Marquee. General Admission is $90 per person and tables of 10 can be pre-booked. The event kicks off this Sunday 8th March from 11am to 3pm, at Victoria Park Function Venue, 261 Herston Rd, Herston with free parking available onsite. If you would like to wear one of Sacha Drake's outfits to the event, a 10% discount is available at all Sacha Drake boutiques with the presentation of your purchased ticket.
