The second annual Zombie Apocalypse is set for the 27th of May, 2012. Beginning at Beeson Reserve in Edithvale, the horde will shuffle through Chelsea and finally reaching their ultimate destination of the Popcorn Video shop in Bonbeach.

Organised by Popcorn Video, participants are advised to dress up as zombies prior to arrival at Beeson Reserve. Some participants might even wish to dress up as survivors. There will be prizes for best costume, and giveaways for participation.

The 2012 Zombie Apocalypse will aim to raise money for cancer research, and donations are welcome at Popcorn Video.

All in all, the Apocalypse should last one hour, depending on participation rates. So come along with a few friends, or bring the family – zombie marches are for anyone who enjoys zombies, and wants to meet a few like-minded individuals. So come along for a day which promises to be filled with joy, laughter and, most importantly, BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAINS!

For other zombie-related adventures, visit Popcorn Video or Notions Unlimited Bookshop (in nearby Chelsea).
