Appetizing pizzas that you can't go past
The night before we flew out to Alice Springs, we stayed at the Ibis Budget Sydney Airport hotel. For dinner, we strolled 15 minutes to Zio Pino Pizzeria. Their slogan "takes your tummy to Italy" is a good description of this wonderful pizzeria.

Zio Pino's has been around for over 30 years and their food ranges from pizza, pasta, veal and chicken dishes cooked in a variety of sauces plus seafood dishes. We began with a juicy Greek salad for entrée.

Our mains arrived soon after. We had ordered two large pizzas which were enough for the four of us to share. The Il Giardino pizza with its tomato, avocado, mushroom, basil and olives topping was divine.

The other tasty pizza, Vegetarian Nightmare, was suitably named. An all-meat pizza with ham, pepperoni and cabanossi was very meaty and very delicious.

The service was good and we did not wait long for our pizzas. This is another pizzeria which I will add to my growing pizza list.
