David Bowie, the legendary musical artist, tragically passed away recently. The shock has sent his latest album, Blackstar, to the #1 on the music charts. In tribute of his huge musical legacy, 3 talented Aussie singers step on stage with the Ziggy Band to perform all his greatest hits for 2 shows in Sydney in June.

Since the release of his first hit album in 1967, David Bowie has reinvented himself countless times to capture of imaginations with 26 classic albums. His most famous songs include Heroes, Space Oddity, Life on Mars, Young Americans, Starman, Fame, Ashes to Ashes, Under Pressure, Ziggy Stardust and Let's Dance. Each one will be dynamically performed live during this spectacular tribute.

He's starred in over 20 films, most recently as the intriguing inventor, Nikola Tesla in The Prestige. His role in the film exploring the mysterious and dangerous world of stage magicians, raised the tension as he challenged Hugh Jackman's character to risk pushing the boundaries of our conventional reality. To truly create a memorable tribute, Jeff Duff, Steve Balbi and Brydon Stace are reuniting. They've been performing this show for over 5 years after Jeff met David while they were neighbours in Elizabeth Bay. David gave his blessing for the tribute to proceed after seeing these experienced performers in action. Steve Balbi is the bass player for Noiseworks, also performing with a variety of international acts. Brydon Stace's backing vocals energise the theatre as Jeff channels David's characters. Surrounding their song is the Ziggy Band, an ensemble generating the fascinating mix of synth-pop so distinctively linked to David.
The David Bowie spectacle returns to Sydney in 2016 for 2 shows only. After David's sudden death and with many of his albums hitting the music charts again as fans yearn to hear his music again, these are certain to sell out quickly. The show begins at 8pm, playing for 2.5 hrs at the Enmore Theatre on Sat, 18 June before continuing at the Concourse in Chatswood on the following weekend, Sat 25 June.
