Blackboards city wide outside cafes and restaurants boast the popular menu item: Breakfast wrap, egg, bacon, tomato...

Even the big chain fast food outlets have a pretty impressive breakfast wrap menu glowing in neon.

This morning, in search of a light bite for breakfast and not too much time available, I ducked into Zaraffah's coffee for my usual caffeine caramel fix, when I spotted the Caeser Wrap in the glass cabinet, stocked fresh with toasties and muffins. The lady told me I could have it warm and toasted so for convenience, it became my breakfast solution.

With the first bite, was I surprised.

The wrap was toasted perfectly and not overdone, so when I bit into my breakfast, the cheese, chicken and bacon melted into my mouth without a crunchy mess. The chicken was so tender and the sauce...

Ask my husband. My motto when it comes to food is : It's all about the cheese and the sauce.

The creamy caeser sauce proved there's more to breakfast than the traditonal sausage, bacon and eggs.

Accompanied with my caramel coffee, it was the tastiest and wallet friendliest breakfast I have had on the run for a while.

So next time your tummy is grumbling while you're ordering your Zaraffah's coffee and your eyes can't fixate on a menu item from the cabinet, let me help you with your decision.

Try the Caeser wrap, toasted. It's light and delicious and you won't stop at one. I could have easily eaten two.
