Zara Opens in Sydney

Published April 16th 2011
After much anticipation, Spanish fashion retail giant Zara will open at Pitt Street's Sydney CBD with their first-ever Australian flagship store. Founded by Amancio Ortega and Rosalia Mera in 1975, Zara is internationally renowned for being a leading icon in modern fashion. A second branch store will also be opening in Melbourne later this year.

The massive three-storey retail outlet showcases a full range of women's, men's and children's wear including its trademark Zara Woman, Zara Basic and the youth concept TRF lines. Known for their fast-fashion "runway to rack" system, Zara is determined to stock the latest international trends as they hit the runway within two weeks anywhere in the world. This minimal marketing technique guarantees that its customers are able to replicate popular styles.

So trendsetters across the state, don't miss out the opportunity to share a milestone in Australia's fashion history. Though its opening party RSVP is closed, don't forget to check out the store for its official opening on Wednesday 20th April 2011 at 9:30am.
