Everyone likes pizza right?
Since living around Noosa I've found there's only one place that sells top notch gourmet pizzas - so good you can even eat the left overs "cold" the next morning.
Zachary's Gourmet Pizza Bar (opposite the Noosa River) is located next to the Lazy River Cafe so of course, they share the same stunning views of our gorgeous river.

Zachary's on the river
For around $19 to $22 you have the option of choosing such pizzas as 'posh chicken' (camembert cheese & avocado) or satay chicken (complete with cashew nuts), Moroccan lamb, or a 'Peregian beach'. It's a great night out with relaxed dining and pizzas that are tasty, fresh and thankfully, not slathered in cheese. Their $10 salad is pretty good value too and plentiful enough to share.

Salad that will hit the spot every time
On a recent Saturday night out this place was fully booked. Staff were buzzing around like well oiled cogs in a machine. Even so, the lovely French manager was not too busy to have a chat and answer our questions. The place had such a great vibe to it my family and I agreed - this was one pizza restaurant that got a big thumbs up. Oh and this particular restaurant offers home delivery in the local area so if you are on holidays and don't feel like getting off the lounge, there's no need to!

Satay Chicken Pizza
There is also a Zachary's in Hastings Street and in Peregian. Both are near the beach so you can smell that sea salt air as you dine either indoors or out. In fact, if your around on the 18th September, the Hastings Street restaurant are having a $10 special from 3 to 5 pm to help celebrate their 10th anniversary.

Gourmet Delight! Posh Chicken.
If you are wandering around the Noosa River, check out Zachary's lunch special - one large pizza and two house drinks for $25. Whichever Zachary's you end up, in you'll be indulged with a great view, a relaxed atmosphere and truly gourmet pizza toppings with a twist. So far, I haven't found a pizza to top these. Bon appetit.
