Fashion, frivolities and Yves
You have probably heard of Yves Saint Laurent, maybe even owned some of the make-up or even if you are very lucky, have a piece of his clothing hanging up in your wardrobe, however do you know who Yves really was?

This film gets behind the scenes of those famous three letters to show you the life and creation of this tremendously gifted designer, with some beautiful outfits along the way!

English subtitled, this French film illustrates Yves' (Pierre Niney) life and how his career starts in 1958 alongside Dior and accompanied by the beautiful Charlotte Le Bon, as well as his life partner Guillaume Gallienne.

The film really tapped in to the emotional side of Yves and his personal development in life through exposure to the world. Though some of the exposures were a little risqué and not suitable for the younger viewers.

Amongst the clothes, parties and promiscuities this film contains some very good acting and an insightful plot line, worth a watch, especially to escape the cold winter nights now!
