Have a night that's out of this world at Scienceworks at their first ever Yuri's Night Space Party .

Yuri's Night is a global phenomenon, with parties thrown all over the planet to celebrate past and future advancements in space exploration. The event is named after Yuri Gagarin, who became the world's first cosmonaut when he was launched into orbit in April 1961.



The night will have plenty of space exploration themed entertainment, including a talk from Mars One astronaut candidate Diane McGrath, and a screening of the planetarium show Dawn of the Space Age, and stargazing. As you learn all about the history and future of space travel, you can keep your earthly needs satisfied with cocktails and nibbles available for purchase.

While Scienceworks is plenty of fun for kids during the day, the Yuri's Night party is for adults only. The event costs $35 per person.
