Why not try Thai?
Yum Yai Express Thai Kitchen is the place I head to when I'm in need of some hot, fresh and healthy Thai cuisine. Recommended originally by a friend, I have been dining here ever since. It is mainly a takeaway place but does cater for dine-in as well (with approximately half a dozen or so tables available). Thus far, I have dined in every time.
It serves pretty much everything you would expect to find in Thai cuisine.
There is pandan chicken. These pieces of chicken are beautifully marinated and wrapped in pandan leaves.

There is tom yum goong. This spicy and sour prawn soup is nicely balanced with lemongrass and lime leaf.
Individual lunch and dinner deals are also available if you're dining by yourself. For lunch, $10.95 will get you a curry or stir-fry with rice and a drink. For dinner, $16.95 will get you spring rolls, a curry or stir-fry with rice and a drink.
Its lunch opening hours are from 11am to 3pm on weekdays. Its dinner opening hours are from 5pm to 9pm on weekdays and from 4pm to 9pm on weekends. Sadly it is not open for lunch on weekends.
Yum Yai Express Thai Kitchen is located on Main Street at the intersection with Goodall Parade in the suburb of Mawson Lakes. Do check it out when you're in the vicinity of the City of Salisbury.
