Fun To Explore The Beach For Treasurers
You hear of some amazing finds found on beaches, in fact people are now seen with metal detectors scouring the sand dunes for the one great find. It may be that you find an intact rare sea shell that you have wanted for ages.
From Monday to Friday 11 to 15 March 2019 at the South Australian Museum, North Terrace in Adelaide, Young Explorers are heading for the beach to see what has been washed up and what treasures they can find. Timing for the event is 11.15 am to 12.15pm. This event is free.

The program is specially designed for children from three to five years of age and if you are bringing children less than three years, please care for your younger ones so the older siblings can fully enjoy the event. Tickets are required to be organised through Eventbrite for children; however, adults and or carers do not need a ticket themselves. The name of each child will be ticked off at the beginning of the session.
If you are coming to the museum as a childcare group, please make prior arrangements by telephone 8207 7575 or email email@example.com to discuss those requirements. Young Explores March – At the Beach is made for small family groups.
Please meet in the main foyer of the museum each session and enjoy.
