Event:
Be a knight of the round table
The time travelling machine has been fired up and we are heading back to Medieval times. Friends from all walks of life are coming together to make an unforgettable weekend together. Head to York for the Medieval Fayre and make sure to dress appropriately for the day.

This Medieval Fayre is an incredible day, full of rides, games and of course, costumes. This day has performances all day long. The warriors will be mock-battling all day. There are heroes that will be created on the day! Maybe you will be York's next hero! There will also be other re-enactments on the day.

Blacksmiths will be displaying their craft. There are also dance battles, so brush off your dancing shoes. If you like other displays, there are also archery and weapons displays. There are so many things to do on the day, including stalls to buy things from, games to play and food and drink stalls also available.

Tickets for adults are only $5, and children get in for free. Ticket proceeds go to varying charities, especially homeless foundations. You are welcome and encouraged to dress up in medieval garb. Be the prince or princess you were born to be. Alternatively, be the knight in shining armour, that's a great idea too!

If you want to participate, the doors for the festival open at 9am. If you are a stallholder, the doors open a lot earlier, of course. The different events start at 10am. Check the timetable closer to the date for further details. The event ends at 4pm. Head to York, on Sunday September 25th to be transported to the medieval era.
