Yogathon is aimed to run for 8 continuous hours on the scheduled day from 9am to 5.30pm. Each session will last for an hour and will be conducted by 8 different teachers. Each teacher will teach a different pose and different style. You are invited to participate in this marathon yoga session depending upon your convenience, agility and availability. You can choose from full day participation to taking just an hour class too.

Join hands with your friends, families and community and stand in solidarity with the survivors of the recent 2015 Nepal's earthquake, and girls and children affected by sex trafficking and exploitation.
This event is a very noble cause which aims to raise some money for the rebuilding of lives of those who were impacted by the 2015 adversity, whilst also raising awareness about the world peace. Challenge yourself to see how you can contribute in making this event the biggest success of this year and cause a social change.
If doing Yoga does not take your fancy away then you can also contribute by becoming a volunteer for this event. Volunteering is required in different departments ranging from photographer plus photo editing, videographer plus video editing, graphic designer, writer with press release experience, PR and marketing coordinator, social media account manager, publicist, flyer distributer, event manager, decoration designer for event day, merchandise team and meet and greet team for event day. Volunteering services are required for days leading up to the event, on the day of the event and after the event.
If you are not able to make it to this event but would still like to support it then you can also choose to donate some money for this event.
All the money raised will be donated to Art to Healing, and grassroots Nepali non-government organisations, to bring forth positive social change to sex-trafficked survivors, and survivors of the earthquake in Nepal.
The community center where this event will be held is located in the midst of the city, on the junction of Elizabeth St and Therry St. You can access it easily through public transportation like trams, train and taxis.
