So after a bit of research on the internet I decided to try out a Yoga class that was held at the Mulgrave Farmer's market. Now before you go on thinking that I was stretching it out in the middle of a market, the class itself was actually held inside the Body Shop head office in their yoga/meditation studio.
I absolutely loved the class, because not only was it held in a funky, hip and comfortable room but the lesson itself was challenging but still fantastic for beginners. There were people there with all different levels of yoga abilities but the routine was really well tailored to everyone because you had moves where it may be harder for some, but easier for others and vice versa. It was such a great class for me to find out what my strengths were and what I needed to work on in regards to my fitness and focus.
Also the teacher was really great because she would ask you to try all the moves but if you couldn't do it, then that was okay as well. She was also really approachable and happy for you to stick around and ask her any questions that you may have for her about the class.
Another reason why I chose this Yoga class was because it was such great value, for a whole hour it only cost $15 and if you have a concession, it's only $10. There is also a 10 x pass available for $130, which I think is fantastic for those who want to attend on a regular basis.
And after the class you can check out the farmers market which is right outside. I ended up meeting a few friends straight after yoga and we hung out at the market eating dumplings and doing our grocery shopping.
