is literally opposite the road from DM Henderson Park , which arguably is the 'better' park because it is bigger and has more facilities. However, I personally think that is equally worth visiting - because it is less popular, it makes for a great spot for a quiet picnic or barbeque. Its also a great place for runners, who can jog in peace without having to consciously avoid other patrons, as well as for children who are still learning how to cycle.

does have many of the same facilities as its sister park, DM Henderson. This includes:

1. Lots of shade

2. Play equipment

3. Barbeques and picnic tables

4. Basketball half-court

5. Fenced off dog park

is only a 15 minute drive from Brisbane CBD, with plenty of on-site parking available. It is generally pretty quiet, with most of its patrons being local residents. I myself like to go for runs here, mainly because I prefer not to worry about literally running into others, and also because the vast majority of the bikeway is under the shade. Do come and pay this undermined park a visit when you have the chance!
