Rare opportunity to see 10 songs re-recorded by SA Hall of Fame Inductees.**" wrap="0" title="Yes heroes" margin="5"]
In its continuing drive to recognise and promote local musicians and artists the
Adelaide Music Collective & SA Hall of Fame (AMC & SAMHF) is offering a truly unique experience to attend 10 recording sessions where 10 classic songs by 10 SA Music Hall of Fame Inductees will be re-recorded by 10 of SA's best up and coming singer-songwriters at Adelaide's premier studio,
Mixmasters at 21 Darwin Avenue, Hawthorndene.
The Mixmasters Sessions is the brainchild of AMC Founder, International drummer,
Enrico 'Mick' Morena, who has an extensive experience of performing with the majority of SA Hall of Fame inductees. In fact his successful career overseas was inspired by these Adelaide inductees which makes him feel proud that he came from such a rich musical history of such high achieving original artists, who have gained recognition here in Australia and overseas.
Morena said, "I speak with authority, when I say, 'I've played with many international artists when I was based in London, and when I compare my experiences, I know it was my performing with our inductees that inspired me."
As Record and Co-Producer, Morena has invited world renown violinist,
Julian Ferraretto, to co-produce with recording the Mixmasters Sessions. Ferraretto is highly in demand as a soloist and ensemble player in the jazz scene. He has performed with the local jazz/folk group,
The Baker Suite, as well as
WOMADelaide and Elder Conservatorium alumni at the Scott Theatre, including
ARIA 2013.
Basel from Julian Ferraretto's debut album Near.
Julian's appearances include many international festivals including: **Wigmore Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Royal Festival Hall, London Jazz Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
**
Winter in America by Doug Ashdown.
The Mixmasters Sessions will be a special one off opportunity for 30 people to attend each of the 10 recording sessions, or to select particular sessions or session and experience how recordings are created.

It's a great way for the different generations to better get to know each other and continue our music history entertaining us with their world class music."
