"We wanted to create these events for women who are full of great ideas, who are willing to work collaboratively with other businesses and want to attend a networking night where they walk away feeling like they met like-minded people rather than standing in a corner wondering who they should speak with or being too intimidated to attend at all," says Luscombe.
"The Yes She Can events are limited in numbers so that the women attendance have the opportunity to speak with the panelists they came to see and have the opportunity to genuinely have their questions answered," she adds.
While the events are set to take place quarterly, the October event discusses Women in (small) Business. Topis covered include how to get started, should you be a sole trader vs a company, what's the go with paying GST, how do you market your business successfully, gaining the confidence to leap in, minimising failure and more.
With a panel of 4 experts (all woman), Megan will be facilitating conversation and delving into questions that cover everything from marketing to branding, finances to taxation, tips and tricks to get you started quickly and anything guests throw at them on the night.
