Get you questions answered at the Yes She Can Women in (Small) Business event.

Yes She Can' events are held exclusively for all woman and cover a variety of topics to empower women regardless of their age, sexuality or life experience.

Held in South Yarra, each event runs in a panel discussion format with a variety of relevant panelists, chosen specifically for each event's topic of discussion.

Women are encouraged to attend, network, ask questions and get quality support and advice in an environment that is encouraging and welcoming.

Discussions take place over an included glass of wine or drink of choice and are priced at $30 with a limit of 30 tickets available.

The events are hosted by Megan Luscombe, of Starting Today, one of Melbourne's leading life and relationship coaches.

"We wanted to create these events for women who are full of great ideas, who are willing to work collaboratively with other businesses and want to attend a networking night where they walk away feeling like they met like-minded people rather than standing in a corner wondering who they should speak with or being too intimidated to attend at all," says Luscombe.

"The Yes She Can events are limited in numbers so that the women attendance have the opportunity to speak with the panelists they came to see and have the opportunity to genuinely have their questions answered," she adds.

While the events are set to take place quarterly, the October event discusses Women in (small) Business. Topis covered include how to get started, should you be a sole trader vs a company, what's the go with paying GST, how do you market your business successfully, gaining the confidence to leap in, minimising failure and more.

With a panel of 4 experts (all woman), Megan will be facilitating conversation and delving into questions that cover everything from marketing to branding, finances to taxation, tips and tricks to get you started quickly and anything guests throw at them on the night.

The event takes place on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Lucky Penny on Chapel St from 7-9 pm.

Tickets are on sale now via Eventbrite and include a complimentary drink on arrival.
