Eat your heart out Legolas! Archery beginner classes are available at the Yering District Archers Club every Saturday.
The beginner's session goes for one hour, will cost you just $10 and is fully supervised by professional coaches. Included in the price is the use of a bow, a set of arrows and of course a target board.

Yering District Archery - Ready, Aim, Fire!
Learn how to string an arrow, hold a bow and how to shoot straight. The best part is you get lots of time and practice to do all of this. The coaches take the time to help each person individually. My ten year old son was having difficulty shooting right handed with a dominant left eye so he has been coached to use his right eye to improve his accuracy.
You'll find all ages pulling back a bow string and letting arrows fly to try and get the elusive and highly coveted bull's eye. Depending on your experience and age the target boards are adjusted to suit. The beauty is you can come back every week and there is no obligation or pressure to purchase equipment or join the club.
A bbq and drinks are available most sessions and are really well priced. It's great to take a break and have a bacon and egg roll between shots.
For ages 6 and up.
Free parking on site.
** Don't forget to wear closed in shoes.
