This 2500 square metres of pool with an infinity edge is a free, family-friendly resort-style lagoon pool at the southern end of the Yeppoon foreshore. Located right below The Rocks waterfront Café, Bar and Restaurant, this place is an ideal spot for everyone to splash and play, with the best view of the ocean and islands of Keppel Bay. The lagoon is patrolled by lifeguards 7 days a week (including public holidays) giving you a safe feeling while swimming and having fun.



The lagoon is perfect for a family outing. It's surrounded by parkland that includes picnic tables and free barbecues. A lot of shady spot areas with plenty of coconut trees, pandanus and Cuban royal palms, making it a great place for relaxing under the tropical foliage. The lagoon offers a separate shallow children's play area (with jets of water and deep shade) and an informal lap swimming area as well as an 8 metre infinity edge as an option for adults and older kids. Two aquatic wheelchairs are available for use for children and adults at the Lagoon upon request. Simply ask one of the friendly lifeguards on duty or inquire at the duty manager's office.

You will notice the squad of lifeguard pelicans patrolling the iconic . 'Pelicans on Patrol', designed by artist Simon McLean, manufactured by ScreenArt and commissioned by Livingstone Shire Council, has been shortlisted for the 2021 Australian Street Art Awards' Best Landmark Sculpture.





You can find plenty of comfortable sun lounges here or another option is to bring your own picnic rug. Entry to the Lagoon is free. In summer, the lagoon is open from 6am to 9pm (September to April) and 8am to 6pm the rest of the year. There is paid parking spots at the front of the lagoon, otherwise plenty of parking spots available within walking distance.



If you think about relaxation, sun-filled days, an infinity pool and spectacular coastal views that enhance the coastal vibe, is the best place to go.
