Port Elliot's coolest coffee space
Coffee lovers rejoice; there's a new space to get a brew on The Strand in Port Elliot.

Yeo Haus Coffee Hole is adjacent to The Home of Gentle Goods, a relaxed store selling relaxed clothing, and it's proving popular with both locals and holidaymakers in this cute coastal town.

Yeo Haus is just around the corner from the iconic Port Elliot Bakery, where you can stock up on treats to enjoy with coffee. Alternatively, Gang Gang's Nice Day Deli serves freshly made burgers and snacks, on-site, Friday till Sunday, 10am-2.30.

Signature burgers include the Spice Girl (cheeseburger with an Asian twist) and God's Plan (a straight-up cheeseburger), There are also smaller Mexican-inspired meals and share plates available.

The mood here is relaxed. If you choose to take a seat and enjoy your coffee slowly (as opposed to power walking along the beach with it), there are bench seats in the back garden under umbrellas.

You'll also find a cubby in the back corner under a shady tree.

There's also a comfy sofa at the end of the driveway. I'm a comfy sofa coffee drinker. The idea of marching along the beach with my coffee is anathema to me. Perhaps I've got it wrong due to the vast numbers of active-wear-clad coffee drinkers I regularly see at the beach. Give me a comfy sofa coffee experience any day.

The young folk are catered for at Yeo Haus with activities to keep them occupied while Mum and Dad drink coffee. The skate ramp is popular.

If you are not a coffee drinker, you might like to try the creamy Turmeric Chai.

Yeo Haus is clearly a hit, and, as a consequence be prepared to line up on busy summer days.
