There is no shortage of fish and chip shops on the Gold Coast, but Yellowfin Seafood Restaurant at Broadbeach offers more than a battered fillet of cod for your dinner.



Sumptuous fish dishes adorn the menu, and there is no shortage of crustaceans, calamari and shell fish. If you find it difficult to choose just one type of seafood, you can always share a seafood platter with a friend, which is full of favourites like moreton bay bugs, prawns, muscles, scallops, oysters, calamari and crab, as well as a serving of their famous beer battered chips and a side of salad. For those who aren't so keen on fish, there are steak, chicken and lamb options too. Children are also thought of, with favourites like chicken nuggets, calamari, pizza and fish and chips.



The restaurant boasts a full beer, wine, cocktail and liqueur list as well as tea, coffee, soft drinks, juices and milk drinks. Three course meals are definitely an option, and a good idea is a shared entree, which will offer a selection of seafood favourites. If you have room, the dessert menu is also worth exploring. Sticky Date Pudding, French Brûlée and Banoffee Pie are all wonderful choices and some are served with adult treats such as vodka shots, frangelico and brandy infused sauces.



For customers in the know, you should make sure that you are seated before 6pm, when you'll receive a massive 40% off the listed prices. For instance, the seafood platter is normal priced at $120 (two person platter), but by arriving early it will only cost you $72, which is not bad split between two people. The menu has Gluten Free options clearly marked and there is a one bill per table policy. The unassuming frontage is no indicator of the treats available inside and this is one restaurant that is definitely worth a visit when you are on the coast.
