If you like driving through lush green countryside, then the Yarramalong Valley is the place to visit.
The Yarramalong Macadamia Nut farm is located at the entrance to the valley and is tranquility at its best. It's the type of place that a light rain enhances, watching rain droplets sliding of green foliage while seated in The Firefly Bistro.
The macadamia scones, served with strawberry jam and cream, are light and delicate. The chef has a secret but he's not letting on. Enjoy a tea or coffee and a light snack or extend the enjoyment by having lunch. You can check out the mouth watering menu by visiting the website and of course a number of dishes include macadamia nuts.
You can purchase freshly harvested and shelled macadamias, cold-pressed oils, or indulge in some luxurious macadamia skincare, all at reasonable prices.
Then wander through the cool green macadamia orchards, but respect the wishes of the owners and 'leave the nuts in place'.
