The picturesque views of the Yarra Valley are the setting for an evening of entertainment when the annual rodeo returns. Providing fun for the whole family, there’s lots of fast-paced action as well as quieter activities for the younger ones.

A bucking good time sees the excitement of bronc and bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, breakaway and team roping, along with a whole lot more resulting in prize money for the winning participants.

Carnival rides and games will further amuse visitors to this event. The kids will love the free face painting, Jamie & Kim’s Australian Wildlife mobile animal zoo and Andy’s Antics show that gets children involved in various activities. Those more daring can channel their inner cowboy or cowgirl on the mechanical bull.

Be sure to indulge yourself in a variety of wonderful eats and thirst quenchers from food trucks, check out the pop-up stores or chill out with a beverage from the licensed bar as you watch the entertainment unfold.

Later on, get those boots scootin’ to upbeat tunes from the legendary Iain Archibald Band bringing their signature sound that blends Aussie rock with country music.

Tickets start from $20 for this spectacle of thrills and spills. Grab them online online quickly as they are selling fast. Note, children under 4yrs are free and don’t require a ticket.

The gates open at 3pm, with the junior rodeo kicking off first and the main show following at 5pm. So grab your cowboy hat and fasten your buckle for this exciting outdoor event in the heart of the beautiful Victorian countryside.
