It is that time of year again - the season of Easter egg hunting and all of the wonderful fun which of course comes along with it!

The Yarra Valley Railway in beautiful Healesville will be once again hosting their renowned Easter Extravaganza. This is a great opportunity to bring the family along for a lovely Easter day out, plus the added bonus of experiencing the fun of being a passenger on a Historical Train, as well as taking a good look at the historical building of the Yarra Valley Railway, which is part of the
Healesville Historical Walk.

Train rides will be running on the historic heritage Walker Railmotor on Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. The starting time will be at 10am and sessions will be running all day until finishing at 4pm.

The Easter Bunny will be a popular special guest during the Easter period. Colouring in for the kids will be on offer as well as a lolly jar guessing competition. Why not try your luck?

The Railway has its very own playground on site and also the beautiful Labyrinth to admire and have a mindful wander around. Lots of seating and benches for picnics are situated on the grounds of Yarra Valley Railway plus plenty of room to kick a footy or soccer ball around! The ticket pricing for the train rides during the Easter Extravaganza are $50 for a family (Two adults and two children), $18 for an adult, $16 for a concession card holder and $12 for children over the age of two. Payment can be made on the day.
