The Yarra Valley normally hosts beautiful spring floral festivals, including the iconic Tesselaar Tulip Festival , and the Blossom Festival at CherryHill Orchards. Instead of these festivals, this year will see a virtual weekend of 'reimagined events' in the .



Taking place on the weekend of 3-4 October, you'll be able to visit the beautiful Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges from the comfort of your home and celebrate the region's food, wine, people, music and gardens.

Amongst the FREE activities on offer are a yoga class set in the award-winning Alowyn Gardens , to help you get ready for the weekend ahead. Follow on with a morning 'walk' with Elder Murrindindi at Healesville Sanctuary .

Head to CherryHill Orchards on Saturday afternoon, and virtually wander the avenues of blossom laden trees in a tour-guided walk. Under the blossom trees, the High Tea Mistress will deliver a workshop themed on how to cater in spring with the perfect bespoke picnic or modern high tea setting.

No party is complete without live music - and the is no exception. A line-up of Melbourne acts will take over No7 Healesville via livestream, with bands matched to Yarra Valley wines and spirits for a perfectly harmonised night of bands and brews.

On Sunday 4 October, take part in a virtual cooking class with Lisa Gifford of Yarra Valley Pasta and special guest and prominent food writer Julia Nishimura. Recreate a recipe from Julia's latest book, A Year of Simple Family Food.



Enjoy an afternoon drink in the tulip fields of Tesselaar , and finish up with a recital from the Yarra Valley Opera Festival , performing live from the tulip fields.
