Yarra River Dragons - Come and Try Day

On Saturday 16 January 2016, the Yarra River Dragons and Dragon Masters Dragonboat clubs will open their doors to new paddlers to come and try paddling in a dragonboat. People aged 13 to 100 years old are welcome to join us, but if you are under 18 you will need to bring a parent or guardian to paddle with you! You don't have to be super sporty or really fit, just keen to have a bit of an adventure and some fun. There's no pressure to join the club, and the paddling session is absolutely free!
You are welcome to attend your first three sessions for free. If you want to give dragon boating a go in a supportive, fun and inclusive environment then head to the brand new "The Dock" Community Hub at the end of Collins Street (Trams 11, or 48) at 8:30 am sharp.
You will receive induction and safety instructions, lifejacket, paddle, warm up and a great paddling session on the water followed by a casual morning tea with the team.To register your interest please send an email to [email protected].
