Shifting Surrounds presents a series of 6 new site-specific installations examining the continual process of change and adaptation that is the nature of life - the planet, ecosystems and us. The scenarios presented are speculative and in a figure of speech suggests the extent of the impact humans are having on Earth. Speculative though it may be it also includes increasingly alarming facts and statistics relating to climate change that's hard to digest, often presenting catastrophic scenarios leaving us feeling helpless and hopeless. We're already living how the new norm could be; and this event is a timely warning about the seriousness of climate change and how it'll impact on all our lives. Find out more on the event page.
