Yahweh Asian Grocery is on the corner of Pelham and Swanston Streets in Carlton.

They sell all kinds of Asian food products (with a focus on those from Malaysia and Singapore), including condiments, soups, noodles, chips, spices, meats and kuihs (which I think are cakes), at crazy-cheap prices.

I'm sure I could have really broadened my culinary horizons here. Instead I bought a Grape Fanta (which tasted like liquefied Hubba Bubba gum) and some biscuits with a chocolate dipping sauce.














The biscuits were pretty cool, they had words of wisdom on them like "Panda, go for more!" but ultimately my story ended in tragedy when I ran out of dipping sauce with 5 sticks remaining.

Together, these only set me back $2.80:
