Everyone gather around and let's take a selfie. In a time where everyone takes selfies constantly, it was only time before a selfie exhibit turned up. At Yagan Square, this exhibit comes in a very exciting form. The 'Can't Contain Myself' exhibit has some "mini-museums" all of which you can get involved in. If you like to take a selfie or just want to see what the fuss is all about, the
'Can't Contain Myself' exhibit is only at Yagan Square for a limited time.
This free event is going to be occupying Yagan Square for three months. Each month, two shipping containers are going to be decorated by local Perth artists, and they will become the backdrop to hundreds of incredible selfies. A third shipping container will also contain monochromatic optical illusions.
Whilst this event takes place, other pop up events will be held simultaneously. Live events such as a Kids Sports festival, a mini flower market and the Makuru Festival will coincide with Reconciliation Week. All of these festivals will be a very exciting and fun-filled event for the whole family.
The containers will be opened from 8 am to 8 pm, until the end of July. There will be different things to see and do every month, so make sure to spend lots of time there to experience the whole thing. And remember to take lots of selfies for Facebook, Insta and TikTok.
