Images - Yagan Square
Yagan Square (corner Wellington and William Streets, Perth) is named after prominent Nyoongar leader Yagan (c1795-1833), and reflects Aboriginal culture, offering insight into Whajduk history. Part of
MRA's Perth City Link project,
the Square offers a range of experiences from green spaces and wildflower gardens, to a children's play space and engaging public art. It's the place to meet, connect, and experience Western Australia's culture, heritage and landscape in the heart of Perth city.
Set yourself up to visit the Yagan Square amphitheatre
every Friday night from 5.30-6.30pm between Fri 8 Jan to Fri 16 Apr 2021 and you'll find yourself immersed in the world's oldest living culture. Enjoy and experience a
FREE performance of Noongar dance and music as Aboriginal performers share stories of our rich culture and history. While you're at the Square, be sure to enjoy all the delights it has to offer.
