The
Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA WA) and six other entities as listed below, bring you
WA Youth Week celebrations on
Thursday 18 April 2019 from 12pm to 5pm at
196 Oxford St, Leederville (in car park next to the Foyer Oxford building) for
FREE. Clear your calendar on the day for it's going to be a full day of
FREE arts and cultural activities and live performances by some of Perth's best young artists, for your entertainment.
On that note, if you're a young musician who has experience or would like to gain experience performing, YACWA may have a paid opportunity for you. They're seeking 3 solo musicians or bands to perform at this event. If you're interested, you'll have to be quick and get in by close of applications on Friday 5 April 2019. Email [email protected] with information about a) the genre of music you play, b) your experience with performing live, and if possible c) a link to your music page.
On the day, be a part of and contribute towards a massive public art piece led by the
2018 WA Young Person of the Year, Kamsani Bin Salleh. Enjoy stalls and activities run BY young people FOR young people.
FREE lunch is on offer between 1pm and 2.30pm. If you're looking for deadly activities, you'll find them from the organisations listed below.
