Violence against women is a silent epidemic. In Australia one woman is killed every week by a current or former partner, and the Australian Bureau of Statistics report that one in three Australian women have experienced violence against them at some point in their life.
However, the on March 7th will not just focus on the insidious nature of violence against women, but instead will celebrate the strength of women with an inspirational line-up of special guests that include performers and fashion designers.

Momentum Forum Events , the team behind iconic charitable events such as the Pink Ribbon Ball and Men in Black Ball, the International Women's Day Luncheon held at Crown Perth aims to raise awareness, promote networking and inspire action. It will also be a glamorous event with a three course, gourmet lunch and a fashion parade by local designer Ruth Tarvydas.
This year the special guest speaker is Ms Cynthia A. Griffin, the US Consul General in Perth, while Dana Vulin, a victim of violence herself, will share her journey of survival as the testimonial speaker. Other highlights include a performance by
award winning singer Nez Erok and
that white dress made famous by Lady Sonia McMahon in 1971.

Tickets are available now from $155 per person for a standard ticket (price includes gourmet lunch, fashion parade and entertainment) or $2,500 for a VIP Table of ten.
