Wyrmwood is the best zombie horror-comedy feature film to come from Australia in years and could only be described as 1979's Mad Max meets 2003's Undead!
It is filled with gore, horror, action, thrills, amazing cinematography (by Tim Nagle), a wicked soundtrack and hilarious Aussie comedy, that every "fair dinkum Australian" will understand.
Directed by Kiah Roache-Turner and staring Jay Gallagher, Bianca Bradey, Keith Agius and Leon Burchill, whose portrayal of the character Benny just steals the show with his loveable antics.

The film follows the story of Barry the mechanic, who wakes up one night to find himself smack bang in the middle of a zombie apocalypse and has to go on a crazy and dangerous road trip to find his sister.
His journey suffers many twists and turns along the way, causing Barry to make some heartbreaking decisions and just when it looks like things might be getting better, he meets Benny, who, while being hilarious, is rather accident prone to say the least.
They meet a group of other humans and soon find out that all the fuel in the world has become non-flammable and therefore useless and somehow the zombies have become the new source for fuel, which they use to their full advantage.
