Sip champagne, shop til you drop, & support a charity
This Thursday 24th November, the beautiful Queen Victoria Building and Level 1 Retailers are holding a special shopping event to raise money for Look Good Feel Better. You can help make a difference to the lives of 1000's of people who live with cancer by doing your Christmas shopping at a range of retailers at the QVB. Plus, you get to enjoy live music, champagne, and an evening of exclusive offers. 10% of sales from a range of retailers will go towards this wonderful charity. Plus, $10 will be donated from the QVB for every social post featuring tags @theqvb and #qvbluxe
Look Good Feel Better is a free, non-medical community service program which helps cancer sufferers manage the appearance-related challenge of the side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Men, women and teens are given practical help and demonstrations in how to apply make-up, advice on scarf-tying and wig selection, concealing redness and drawing on eyebrows. Each participant receives a 'Confidence Kit' full of skincare and make-up products donated by the cosmetic industry. LGFB workshops are open to anyone undergoing treatment for any sort of cancer.
Some of the fabulous special offers include:- Anthea Crawford:- Purchase any full-priced items and receive a complimentary drop pearl bracelet valued at $169.00. Crabtree & Evelyn:- receive 20% off all full priced items. Les Nereides Paris:- spend $300 and receive a complimentary pair of earrings from the Fanfare collection valued at $99.00. Offers valid between 5pm - 9pm, 24th November or while stocks last. See individual stores for more details.
So put on your best frock, killer heels and get ready for a retail hit. Enjoy an evening of indulgence and special deals, tick a few items off your Christmas shopping list, all the while knowing you're doing something for someone else in need; supporting a charity and hundreds of trained cosmetic volunteers who give their time and expertise to provide this free service. LGFB receives no government funding.
