Cheer and boo from the couch no longer, wrestling fans, because you can experience the WWE live and in person this September when the Raw World Tour hits Rod Laver Arena.
Some of the top superstars seen on television each week are scheduled to be a part of the tour, including current WWE champion CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, Santino Marella, and Divas Beth Phoenix and Layla.
We all know the usual spiel about the card being subject to change, but a couple of matches have already been announced. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan are two of the finest technical wrestlers in the world and they'll get a chance to put on a clinic when they meet in a submission match for the WWE Championship.
The most divisive Superstar on the WWE roster, John Cena, is sure to have the Melbourne crowd in full voice when he enters the ring to continue his feud with the seven foot, 441-pound Big Show and the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and General Manager of Raw and SmackDown, John Laurinaitis. While it's scheduled to be a singles match between Cena and Big Show, Laurinaitis will be in the corner of 'The World's Largest Athlete' and is sure to make his authority felt.
Tickets for the show have been on sale for a while now so the floor seats and cheap $30 seats are sold out, but other categories are still available from Ticketek at the time of writing.
So get out your sharpies and make a sign, don your favourite wrestling t-shirt and get ready for the WWE to come to town on Saturday, September 1st at 7.30pm.
