I love writing, art, music, food, finance, hanging out with my favourites & being a productive night owl.

Whether you're taking the kids out for a play date in Randwick or chilling on a bench, the park on Botany Street near the corner of Arthur Street is somewhere you should try going. The playground is of high quality as it got refurbished a few years ago, not that I remember it being 'unsafe' when I used to go there as a child.

The trees create shade so you can sit under a bench and relax. There are multiple benches, including ones which you can see your children from if you feel like sitting down. Read a book under the shade, have a picnic with your loved one or just enjoy the view.

There is actually also a winding path at this park, so if you feel like exercising in the trees on your regular Randwick walk, you can trail off and walk around. If you can see in the picture, there's also room for small ball games.

This park isn't as well-known as the one near Randwick Police Station, so if you want a peaceful place to go to near Botany Street, definitely consider it.
