Create, Laugh and Style a Story with David Richardson
Hindmarsh Library at 139 Port Road, Hindmarsh, will host Create, Laugh and Style a Story on Monday, 17 April 2023, starting from 2.30 pm to 4 pm. David Richardson is the author of the popular Doug & Stan series, and in this school holiday session, he will go through what it takes to create an entertaining story that will have you bursting with laughter. Woodcroft Library at 175 Bains Road. Morphett Vale, will host Let's Write session with Grandmother Christine. Grandmother Christine is an international author of children's books and information books that enlighten many. This event will be held on Tuesday, 18 April 2023, starting 10 am to 1p pm.

Spectrum Writing Workshops with Jason Fischer**
Located at Yorketown Sports Grounds, 40 Stansbury Road, Yorketown, Jason from Spectrum Writing will host writing workshop for all young budding writer.

For session 1, on Thursday, 20 April 2023, starting from 10 am to 12 pm, Jason will host "Fast Characters, Fast Stories" workshop (creative writing. This session will use group brainstorming techniques and the use of deepfake images and random elements to build fully rounded characters, link them together and generate a satisfying plot – all in under 2 hours! Guaranteed to get the whole room involved. Suitable for all ages.

For session 2, on Thursday 20 April 2023, starting from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm, Jason will be calling all heroes for "Dungeons and Dragons Session". It's the world's most popular table-top role playing game, and this session is suitable for both beginners and experienced players. Jason will provide everything you need to make your own character and to play through a short adventure. Adventure awaits you!

For session 1, on Friday, 21 April 2023, starting from 10 am to 12 pm will host "Autism and My Life's Sentence" workshop. This session is for young people diagnosed with autism and their families where Jason will tell his story of living with autism both personally and as a parent. From a troubled shut-in struggling with something he didn't understand - to becoming an award-winning author and writing teacher, Jason Fischer shares his story of parenthood, discovery and triumph. Autism might run throughout his life's sentence - but it's not a life sentence.
