Wrapped in Style – Exhibition
London-based and internationally recognised artist
Zoe Bradley has given
Rundle Place a beautiful pop of holiday-themed colour with her latest paper art creation -
Wrapped in Style .
In anticipation of the upcoming Festival season,
Wrapped in Style was made with the hope of injecting a sense of joy and happiness through a brilliant combination of art, fashion, and imagination.
The name
Wrapped in Style was coined to resonate with the ambience offered by Rundle Place, which brings together a social hub of fashion, innovation, and art, in addition to exemplifying the Rundle Place campaign of "Be Your Own You".
Bradley has become a worldwide icon, in terms of her attention to the finest of details, her impeccable sculptures and artwork installations, and collaborations with a number of fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen, Tiffany & Co., Christian Louboutin, Dior, Harrods, Chopard and Selfridges.
Bradley's work is primarily a stand-out for her unique techniques of employing laser cutting, sculpting and hand-folded origami to create her bespoke installations and artwork. Her works of paper art are created with a style that is modern, elegant and fashion-focused.
"I've always considered it a great opportunity to take contemporary paper art installations outside the usual gallery walls to a wider audience. I am excited to be coming to Australia on behalf of Rundle Place and creating something special for the people of Adelaide, just in time for Christmas!" - Zoe Bradley
Rundle Place Centre Manager Kate Jarman expressed her excitement at Bradley's artwork that will be taking up residence at Rundle Place for a limited time (until 28 December 2018).
"We are honoured to host Zoe at Adelaide's premier shopping destination, Rundle Place. The collaboration is reflective of Rundle Place's dedication to the future of the retail industry and cements our place as leaders in fashion-forward originality and inspired design." - Kate Jarman
The largest paper couture dress to be created on Australian soil, Wrapped in Style is available for public viewing during the business hours of Rundle Place in
Rundle Mall .
