WOW! Sushi Burger

Sushi Burger. I have no idea what is all about, never heard it before. So I just standing for awhile in front of their little food chart at one of the markets in Darwin and contemplating myself whether I should try this or not. Until one man behind me said: 'good choice'. He said he tried it before and liked it, so I said to myself, 'okay, let's give it a go'.
The menu is not big. There are only four varieties of sushi that they provide. Teriyaki chicken with grilled pineapple and orange teriyaki sauce; Turmeric grilled local Spanish mackerel with grilled tomato and premium caviar mayo; Garlic Angus steak with Japanese browned corn and house teriyaki sauce; and the last one on the menu is Roasted seaweed potato bomb with Japanese green tea mayo. All sound very fancy and very modern when compared to the chicken teriyaki with avocado sushi that I usually get from our local sushi place.
I put my bet on their Teriyaki chicken with grilled pineapple and orange teriyaki sauce. I gave the money and the young man behind the counter started to create his masterpiece. First, he laid down a rectangle shape seaweed then put two dots of orange teriyaki sauce on the edge of seaweed. He put a round shape rice patty that he cooked on the hot plate. After that came pieces of teriyaki chicken with a slice of grilled pineapple. He then poured a generous amount of the sauce again, put another rice patty and folded the rest of seaweed on top of the stack. It was placed in a triangle shape paper that folded into a pocket.
The verdict? It's quite yummy actually. The triangle shaped paper pocket helped to keep everything in place.
