Wow Illusions is a fun and unique attraction that is described as "a collection of weird and puzzling eccentricity" on their website. Located in Metricup, part of the Margaret River wine region, Wow Illusions is made up of a range of illusions, puzzles and trick photography props. The illusions are accessed via the entrance to Margaret River Nuts & Cereals. The fun starts at the front door, with a painting on the wall designed as a photo backdrop and a painted ladder on the ground.

A painting acts as a photo backdrop - when positioned correctly you will look like a puppet.
Once through the door, you enter the Margaret River Nuts & Cereals shop and cafe area. The shop stocks a range of gourmet nuts, honey, sauces and snacks while the cafe serves a variety of drinks and cakes. Entry to Wow Illusions is paid for at the cafe counter.
The entrance is via Margaret River Nuts & Cereals.
The illusions include a range of photo backdrops. There are small markers on the floor to indicate the best angle to take the photo from once your subject is in position.
The attractions also include a mirror maze and a wooden maze with tricky gates that do not open in the conventional way! There is a gravity-defying room, apparatus to cut yourself in half and a room that can make you big or small with just a few steps to the left or right. There is also a unique toilet with one-way mirrors for walls - you will be able to see out but nobody can see in!
In addition to the illusions, there is a playground outside and a large grass area with soccer goals. There is very little shade available in this area so best to bring hats and sunscreen if you plan to be here.
An adult entry is $12.50, children aged 4-14 cost $10, and under 3 are free. A family pass of 2 adults and 2 children costs $40. Wow Illusions is open every day (except Christmas and Good Friday) from 9.30am - 4.30pm.
