If you can sit, stand or lie down, you can take part
Whether you're as inflexible as the proverbial board, or stretchier than a rubber band, there's nothing stopping you from becoming part of the World's Longest Yoga Chain. Happening at Mosman's Spit West Reserve at 10am on Sunday 20 October, it's an event being run by Adore Yoga and the Cancer Council. The aim is to break the Guinness World Record for Longest Yoga Chain ever, while raising money for women with breast cancer.
Hundreds of yogis of all degrees of bendy-ness have already registered. As the event's site reads, 'If you can stand, sit or lie down, then you're fit and flexible enough to take part (we've yet to find anybody who can't do Savasana – lying down on your back and relaxing)!'
