Pssstttt!!! Do you want to know a secret weapon to take a stand against blood cancer? YOU! Yes, you! Get sponsored to shave, cut or colour your hair any time of year and you can help Aussie families facing blood cancer.

Every single day, over 50 Australian families will receive a devastating blood cancer diagnosis. The money you raise will provide these families with the special care and support that they need and also help brilliant research scientists continue their search for better ways to diagnose and treat blood cancer more effectively, and ultimately find a cure.

World's Greatest Shave — originally named "Shave for a Cure" — began following a successful event organised by a family on the NSW North Coast of Lismore. Eric Graydon was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) and needed to relocate for emergency treatment. His family decided to do something big to raise both funds and awareness for those suffering from leukaemia. They challenged the Leukaemia Foundation to come together and shave the greatest number of heads in 24 hours. Word got out to the media, and nobody could have foreseen what happened next. The results? $80,000 raised, and 200 heads shaved. And just like that, World's Greatest Shave was born. The rest is history.

Organise the World's Greatest Shave event at your workplace, at school or anywhere. You can also donate your fund through this site. Find a shave map on this site. Maybe there's an event close to you that you can participate in.

The Leukaemia Foundation's goal is zero lives lost to blood cancer by 2035. Its mission POSSIBLE.

Always such a good cause. I think I would opt for colouring.
