My early career was in teaching, writing, producing and directing for theatre, comedy and impro shows. Now I'm a professional creative person. Mostly high-end branding, strategy, writing, editing and digital content creation.
You know you're in for a good comedy show when even the title and posters are funny. Lindsay Webb's World's Greatest Exaggerator is set to be even more hilarious. Webb is no stranger to taking it to the extreme having once held the record for longest ever comedy show by an individual at over 38 hours. It's a record he set right here in Brisbane at the cinemas in GoMA. This year's show promises to be shorter and will be in another venue – Fortitude Valley's Bloodhound Bar – on August 11 and 12.
Lindsay is one of those comedians who has you laughing from start to finish and leaving a venue with a sore face. His Podcast What's Your Name What Do You Do? has been climbing the charts on iTunes. He was the first ever host of LYPO (Laugh Your Pants Off) Gala at Star City Casino in Sydney with an all star cast, including Lawrence Mooney, Mikey Robins, Sammy J and Randy and more. He's also done Q&A (ABC) warm up duties, worked as a radio host for several different stations in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast and toured all over Australia and worldwide.
Lindsay's show World's Greatest Exaggerator is being performed as part of the Bris Funny Fest. He launched this show at Adelaide Fringe Fest to sold out crowds and five-million star reviews. You can keep up with all his dates and latest news about the funniest man in the world ever at his website… or should that be Webbsite?
